Under the auspices of the respected President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and coinciding with the International Arabic Language Day, and under the slogan "Reading is nourishment for the soul and mind," the respected Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr.  Salma Abdul-Baqi Mahmoud, inaugurated the reading corner in cooperation with the Guidance Unit and the editorial board of IT magazine Knowledge Space, the students of the second stage of the Computer Department and the Department of Information Systems. A library that is not subject to the management of a librarian. Each student is allowed to borrow internally and read in the place of his choice with the book.  The Dean of the College appreciated the effort exerted by the dear students in making this open cultural window a success and providing it with a group of selected books.
