Under the auspices of the respected President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and the supervision of the respected Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr. Salma Abdul-Baqi Mahmoud, the Student Activities Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit in the college, organized a general safety and first aid course, which began on Monday 05/12/2022 and continues for a period of four days dedicated to the technical, administrative and teaching cadres in the college to raise awareness among this segment of society, in which Lt. Col. (Tayseer Abd Ali Abd) explained on the first day the types of fires, the factors causing them, and how to extinguish them to avoid the occurrence of disasters in homes, state institutions and buildings.
