The Department of Computer Information Systems at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Basra, under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Dr. Salma Abdel-Baqi Mahmoud, the respected graduate studies hall in the college building, and in the presence of some of the professors and graduate students / master’s students in the college, organized a scientific lecture on the Internet of Things for the smart network.  It is the second lecture given by postgraduate student Hussain Jassem about his research entitled "Design and Implementation of the Internet of Things System for the Smart Grid with Big Data" to obtain a master's degree under the supervision of Dr. Haider Abdel Nabi, which aims to find solutions to overcome many energy distribution problems.
