Under the patronage of the Honorable President of the University of Basra, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr. Salma Abdel-Baqi Mahmoud, the respected and in the presence of His Eminence Sheikh Abdul-Ridha Ma’ash the respected, the college students organized a religious festival on Thursday 20/1-2022 to commemorate the birth of the Lady of the Immaculate Friendly Women  Fatima al-Zahra, peace be upon her, included poems, poems and speeches befitting al-Zahra and her great position in Islam, in addition to an awareness sermon delivered by His Eminence Sheikh Abd al-Ridha Ma’ash, in which he addressed the minds of the attendees, including professors, employees, and students of the college by taking the right path to nourish the spirit religiously, scientifically and culturally, moving away from the tradition that is sweeping the community and examples of which are used  At the end of the festival, the president of the university commended the efforts made and presented certificates of thanks and appreciation to the organizers and participants in the festival.
