Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Basra, Dr. Salma Abdel-Baqi Mahmoud, the respected, and in cooperation with the Information Department of the Basra Governorate Police Command, Brigadier General Basem Ghanem Hanoun delivered a lecture on electronic extortion on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 in one of the college halls.  The methods used in its use and its dangers to this category of society and the methods used to reduce it and what are the mechanisms of cooperation provided by the Directorate in such cases
