Basra University organizes a workshop entitled “The Information Technology Market in Iraq”

 Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr. Salma Abdel-Baqi Mahmoud, and in cooperation with the Google developer team in Basra GDG Basra, the college organized a workshop on the IT labor market in Iraq, delivered by Engineer Wael Hassan  Director of the Electronic Calculator Center, Basra University of Oil and Gas, a lecture in which he explained the impact of information and communication technology on employment as an industry that generates more jobs and as a tool that enables obtaining new types of work in new and more flexible ways.
 The emerging opportunities based on information and communication technology are important in view of the fact that various countries of the world are looking to create more quality jobs with a positive social and economic impact on society.
